Pfizer Corporation maintains its world headquarters in New York City. The lobby and reception area features a bas-relief mural made of stainless steel depicting the history of pharmaceuticals. Hired as a design consultant for the renovation and restoration of the lobby and reception area, Mr. Wagman recommended that the ceiling grid of lit glass be transformed into an additional artistic representation of Pfizer's research and work. The renowned glass mosaic artist, Brian Clarke was commissioned to design stained glass mosaic panels featuring micro-photographic images of cells, bones, organs, and tissues. Enlarged and exposed they give the public the impression of scientific research and add an additional layer of identity to the headquarters.
