Apartment - Riverside Dr
This 1,900 square foot "Classic 6" apartment on Manhattan's Upper West Side had not been altered since its construction in the late 19th century.
The clients wanted to ensure that, when finished, the apartment looked like it had always been there and aging gracefully.
New millwork was designed and built based on the original details. Rooms were opened up keeping in mind the patterns and rhythms of the flooring and ceiling designs.
Original sinks, tiles, and medicine cabinets were restored with new fixtures and fittings specified to reflect the period and the client's taste.
